Flapwheels are constructed from flaps of aluminum oxide (typically with “X” or “J” backing), closely packed, and mounted radially on a metal core. This durable design provides for fast cutting action, extended life, and cool running properties. Sizes available range from 6" to 16", in face widths from 1" to 3". Grits range from 80 to 400.

Uniflap Wheels – This unique design provides just the right profile for hard to finish grooved or contoured items. The wheel is constructed of approximately 20 to 30 individual “fingers” of coated abrasive flaps, with each two inch flap folded over to show one inch on each side of the buff. The fingers themselves have a variable number of flaps per finger. Uniflap wheels may be used individually or ganged together, and are offered in grits from 80 through 400.
Interleaf Finishing Flapbrushes represent the combination of durable nonwoven with the versatile features of coated abrasive material to create a finishing wheel for the most demanding finishing requirements. These wheels are constructed with alternating layers of nonwoven and coated abrasive which are closely packed and mounted radially on a fiberglass core. This construction allows for longer life, but with a wide selection of finishing choices. Sizes range from 6" to 14" diameter, with face widths of 1" to 4". The coated abrasive is typically 80, 120, or 180 grit.
